She is…

“Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls;
the most massive characters are seared with scars.”- Khalil Gibran
“A woman is like a tea bag – you can’t tell how strong she is
until you put her in hot water.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

“Women are made to be loved, not understood.” – Oscar Wilde

She is hurricane,

She is Rain,

She is the dew drop on your soul.

She is a storm that can’t

Be tamed.

She is a flightless bird

Yet, she flies,

In Her dreams,

in Her life.

She is a creator,

She is a Goddess,

She is a home for all.

She is sailor,

of the roughest seas.

She is the enchantress,

Who can bring down Gods…

to their knees.

She is fierce like

a tiger,

ready to kill its prey.

She is not a rag doll

with whom you think

you can play.

She is as delicate as

a porcelain doll.

If you break Her,

be prepared for your fall.

She is the laughter,

you hear in your backyard.

She is Picasso,

and you are Her canvas.

She is the pride

of Her family.

She is Her daddy’s strength.

She is a mighty soldier,

as tough as one can be.

See Her battle scars,

She is a Superwomen,

draped in Saree,

dressed in Burqa,

Business suit, Shorts,

Gowns, Pyjamas, Bikini and so on…

She wears different costumes

to flatter Herself, to

make Herself happy, and

to satisfy the needs of all.

She is bold,

She is strong.

Her experience sings

Her life’s song.

From even to odd jobs

She is the one, who can do all.

Don’t abuse Her.

Don’t misuse Her.

Don’t ill-treat Her.

Don’t play with Her.

Don’t consume Her

Don’t assume Her to be

your puppet.

Let Her fly,

let Her soar high in the sky.

Let Her steer Her own ship.

She is the master

Her fate,

She is the captain of

Her soul,

And you are not the one

To control.

  1. This is a really extraordinary poem about women, resiliency, courage, and the delicate balance inside the soul of the unique creation called a woman.

    Love it!
    Great job!
    Keep writing and never stop!
Soon I will hear that you’re getting a Pulitzer Prize for best writing.
